Running With Bulls Tempranillo 2010 Barossa Australian Red Wine. Tempranillo is a traditional and widely grown variety from Spain, is proving to be well suited to many regions in Australia
Running With Bulls 2010 most deservedly won a Gold Medal at the 2011 Sydney Royal Wine Show and generously gives something more than the usual fruity Shiraz available at the same price.
Very deep dark red in colour the nose displays dark cherry, plum and spice, flavours of ripe dark cherry and dark plum followed by a spicy meaty back palate, leading to an aftertaste of dark cherry, dark plum and spice.
"If there’s a better value and better example of Australian Tempranillo then I want to know about it. Running with Bulls Tempranillo is a knockout... medium bodied, bright and juicy with fresh cherry and plum fruit, but it’s not a fruity wine, more savoury, with earthy, spicy notes. Tannins are plush and balanced, making a delicious drink. Enjoy with tapas, including slices of jamon and chorizo."
