Vire Clesse Cave de Lugny 2008 or 2009 Burgundy White Wine from France. Vire-Clesse Cave de Lugny is a dry wine showing a fresh lemony aroma and excellent ripe fruit backed by crisp acidity.
The Vire Clesse appellation was only created in 1999 to enable these superior quality wines from the chalky-clay soil of these two villages, together with those of neighbouring Laiz and Montbellet to be marketed separately from the more anonymous Macon-Villages.
This white Burgandy from France is excellent on it's own or try pairing with a Chicken Breast disuffed with Feta, Olives and Peppers.
